Celebrate the changing season and learn to draw one of Britain’s best-loved little mammals in coloured pencil.
Join me for a relaxed and creative three-hour workshop as we create a beautiful autumn hedgehog using coloured pencils.
Step by step, I'll guide you through the process of building up your drawing, from those wonderfully characterful features to the soft fur around the face and, of course, all those prickly spines! We'll explore how to layer and blend coloured pencils, create different textures, build depth and detail, and bring your hedgehog to life on the page.
With warm, earthy colours and a touch of autumnal inspiration, this is the perfect cosy creative workshop for the season.
The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some coloured-pencil experience. There's no need to worry if you don't think you can draw – I'll take you through everything step by step, and you'll have plenty of individual help along the way.
All materials are provided, along with tea, coffee and homemade cakes!
You'll leave with your own autumn hedgehog artwork, as well as plenty of tips and techniques that you can use in your future coloured-pencil drawings.
