Joseph Hayton
Joseph Hayton is a stone carver and bronze sculptor.
His work is mainly figurative with his ongoing works looking into gothic architecture and the human form.
Joe is also well known for his take on the Green Man. These carved stone monoliths make a fantastic centrepiece for any garden, large or small.
Bronze sculpture is also produced by Joe, who works closely with a foundry in Barnard Castle to produce traditional lost wax bronzes, large or small.
Alice Clarke
Alice Clarke is a professional jeweller with 13 years of bench experience, dedicated to the art of fine craftsmanship. As her team has grown, Alice now focuses on goldsmithing and bespoke commissions, ensuring every piece reflects her signature attention to detail. Setting each stone in-house, she has refined her style over the years, creating timeless jewellery that blends precision with artistry.
Augustus Stickland
Originally from Somerset, Augustus has always been interested in woodworking, there he trained under a master joiner and cabinet maker from whom he learnt his craft.
After two years he enrolled at Camberwell College of Arts to undertake the Fine Art Drawing course. Once finishing, he went to work with many award-winning furniture designers over the next 5 years learning new and complex woodworking skills. Along with his own fine art practice, he has continued to design and build commissioned projects for private clients.
Now based in North Yorkshire, Augustus is designing his own range of freestanding furniture as well as continuing to work along-side clients to full fill their interior wants and needs.
Moxon & Simm
Debby and Ian trained at Sheffield achieving a BA(Hons) 3D Design (Silversmithing and Jewellery) in 1981.
Established in 1982, designing and making high-quality designer jewellery, selling and exhibiting in some of the best galleries and craft shops across the UK.
Each piece is unique and made by hand from design to finish so production is limited.
Although well known for their titanium jewellery, precious metals and stones, including opals, are used in additional ranges and one off pieces.
Dodie Hallas
Dodie's work covers a wide range of themes, forms, colour and dimensions. This makes it suitable for a variety of contexts and environments.
Dodie Hallas makes unique and distinctive pieces of ceramic sculpture. Her work is about a compulsion to translate ideas and emotions into sculpture. She seeks to extend ceramic form and the credibility of ceramics as a sculptural medium. Her work displays simple and strong sculptural forms combined with the subtle colours and textures of smoke-crazed surfaces. She is inspired by the mystical and symbolic features of primitive, ethnic and classical forms and by the sensual and decorative qualities of Asian Art.
Gowan Jewellery
Joanne creates fine artist jewellery: these ‘vignette’ items are rather like framed artworks that focus on one moment or story, giving Joanne’s insight into a particular subject. Pieces develop in small groups of work, often with representational themes, which stem from her sketching and watercolours during her time away from the workbench. All the designs are created as one off pieces and can be displayed as miniature objet d’art or worn as jewellery.
Designs are influenced by her love of nature, landscape, travel, history, literature, archaeology, ballet & music. Joanne also makes classic and timeless jewellery, one-off unique designs using the highest quality gemstones.
The one-off jewels and ‘picture’ pieces are created by hand in precious materials using traditional techniques – 18ct gold, platinum, palladium, silver and a wide variety of gemstones, including rare items and unusual cuts. Joanne is always happy to create individual pieces to a clients brief and is happy to use clients own stone or recycle loved family jewellery.
Joanne has been a full time designer jeweller for over 40 years after studying for a Jewellery BA Degree at Central School of Art and Design. Joanne Gowan has her workshop within her own retail premises Gowan Jewellers, which she opened in 1988 in Hertfordshire and relocated to Pateley Bridge in 2024. She sells her works direct to clients at her own premises and at high quality craft & design fairs throughout the country.

Rosie Evans
Take a minute to write an introduction that is short, sweet, and to the point. If you sell something, use this space to describe it in detail and tell us why we should make a purchase. Tap into your creativity. You’ve got this.
Fiona Mazzer
Fiona Mazza is a ceramic artist living in Yorkshire and over the last 27 years has developed numerous skills through making, teaching and technician work. The core of the work is based on nature, particularly the amazing butterfly world. However, Fiona enjoys the challenge of designing and making individual pieces using many techniques, this allows her to explore clay in many areas.
Fiona’s work is inspired by nature. Butterflies are the main focus. Ceramic Pieces are produced in various techniques, she loves incorporating different materials, often working with other craft makers to produce truly different pieces of work. Fiona loves exploring the surface of the pot, using the surface like a canvas, pushing the material to its limits, often representing the natural world’s challenges from mans impact.
After a fire in the adjoining building of her studio in Pateley Bridge, which destroyed a lot of equipment and important reference work, Fiona slowly started building up a small studio space at home in Harrogate, back where she started, and has stated its been a really emotional time your world has been turned upside down but out of this hopefully new work in time will be developed.
