Want to learn to quilt, or improve your quilting skills?
Spend a relaxing day at Studio 6, Pateley Makers Yard, where you’ll improve your quilting know-how and create your very own quilt in a day! Quilting is fun, sociable and great for de-stressing.
Under the expert guidance of tutor Jacqueline Seymour of Bee-spoke Quilts, you’ll spend a full day getting stuck in to quilt making, from designing your quilt to cutting, pinning and sewing. You’ll also naturally improve your sewing skills in this workshop, where you’ll be inducted into using a sewing machine for quilting.
Jacqueline is an experienced Yorkshire based quilt maker, combining her passions for colour and sewing with skill and enthusiasm in the creation of unique and beautiful patchwork quilts. She has a flair for combining colours and fabrics, giving the quilts a strong visual impact and contemporary twist. The inspiration for many of Jacqueline’s designs come from the countryside and creatures which surround her, and even the name of her business, Bee-spoke Quilits, came from being a keen bee keeper!
All levels are welcome including complete beginners.
